Hey zoners. I am looking for what you find to be the best torrent client, and site for torrents.
I have been browsing around minitorent.org and it looks good, but I don't have a client to download the torrent files.
I'm using window eyes 4.5 pro
Any help would be great!

do a google search for ABC. It's a pretty good client. I download a lot of stuff from torrentspy.com.

Some torrent sites that I've found are ThePirateBay.org, TorrentReactor.net, and torrentazos.com. Torrentazos.com is all in Spanish though, but you should probably be able to figure it out just by entering your query into the form and looking for the results further down the page. I also recommend ABC which can be downloaded from pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net. HTH

Two others are torrentportal.com and novamesi.com.ar.

I use www.isohunt.com as my search page and software called BitComet (just do a google search for it) it's pretty good, if you use the context key it'll give you all options to remove torrents etc, easy set up and it's worked great. I've never tried abc so that's new to me as well, So, this is definitely an alternative that I have had working for quite some time.

Demonoid.com is a good cite as well as zerotracker.com. The bad part about those cites is that they require an account, but it's well worth the account creation, especially on demonoid. I'll have to try ABC I guess because the client I was using that was working well has now put spywear and crap like that in the program. Do not download bitlord v 1.1! Some cites are banning that client even. I've heard that bit commet has a similar interface to bitlord though, so maybe that would be a better option for me since I'm already familiar with bitlord.

Yeh, ABC is good, easy to use if you're not really sure what you're doing, good for me, heheheeh

if you're looking for a client with more advanced features, check out azureus.sourceforge.net.

I didn't think azurious worked well with screen readers because of it's java based innerface. This isn't true?

No Azureus uses the SWT which uses standard Windows controls, so you don't even need an API to the JVM.

So, how exactly does Torrent work? You go to a site that has torrent files and use that to start them downloading? Or what? I tried a torrent client once, don't remember what it was, and couldn't get it to work worth crap...And how do you unzip the files from the torrent extention? Is it automatic when they're done downloading?
